Bringing the outdoors in, with Lost in London
Join us in the beautiful setting of Hackney City Farm as Lost in London comes to life in the sunshine, and its talented contributors show you how to make the most of the city’s natural world with demonstrations, activities and installations.
The theme is “bringing the outdoors in”, and Lost‘s experts will be on hand with tips on how to garden indoors, liven up dull and small spaces using the nature on your doorstep and turn foraged finds into gorgeous, homemade produce.
We’re looking for some lovely Borough Belles to help out on the day and perhaps volunteer to bake or make some goods to sell at our stall.
Things we’d like for the stall include:
- Cake! (gluten-free, vegan, chocolate, fruit, vegetable – anything yummy please!)
- Biscuits and cookies
- Baked savouries (sausage rolls, etc)
- Jams and chutney
We’re also hosting some crafty activities, so we’d love some volunteers to help out with that (even 30 minutes would be amazing!).
If you can help out on the stall for an hour or bake and bring along something to sell, please get in touch by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or post a reply on our Facebook event page.
When: Sunday 9th June from 2pm – 5pm
Where: Hackney City Farm, Straw Bale Room, 1a Goldsmiths Row, London E2 8QA
Hope to see you there!
